KontrolFreek's Black Friday Survival Guide
Once The Turkey Has Settled...
... it's time to start shopping! Black Friday is such a hot topic these days. News stories always come in about how some swarm of people trampled over one another to grab a Tickle Me Elmo. In other words, this has the potential to get stressful real quick.
Nobody can dispute the sheer amount of crazy deals that come around on Black Friday. As shopping continues to make its way over to the interwebs, it's become increasingly more difficult to justify leaving the house after spending 3 hours consuming delicious foods and cracking jokes with the fam. Especially when they just added Gun Game to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Most of us, if not all of us, would rather be gaming than shopping. So we put together three decent tips to keep your Black Friday stress free so you can get back to gaming as soon as your heart desires.
1. Keep a good playlist on deck
Black Friday tends to get a little noisy as everyone clamors to find the best deal. If you're going to go out at night to do your shopping, try to drown out the noise of the masses with a good playlist that keeps you cool, calm, and collected.
We recommend the Power Gaming playlist on Spotify. It's pretty hype and will keep you in good spirits.
2. Do your research
Nothing's worse than finding out something is out of stock because you forgot to check the inventory before you made the trek to the store. So make sure you prepare by utilizing your GTA-inspired bank robbing skills. Plan out your route like it's a calculated heist then assemble your crew for one last job, and everything will go off without a hitch.
Also, make sure you check your email inbox! Most companies will be filling that puppy up with all kinds of promotions and announcements. Email is by far the best way to keep your ear to the ground for sales.
3. Consider Shopping Online Exclusively
If you want to spend your time on Black Friday shopping from the comfort of your own home, do it! It's never been easier! The online shopping deals don't start on Cyber Monday. Heck, they don't even start on Black Friday! Which leads us to the next point...
4. See if anyone leaked anything (Cuz we just did)
You read that correctly, we are LEAKING our Black Friday deal. On purpose. Maybe we're a little lightheaded after we spent a little too much time blowing into our N64 copy of Donkey Kong country, but by golly we did it.
Simply for reading this post, you've been granted exclusive access to our Black Friday Page before anyone else! Right now clicking the link below is the only way to access our Black Friday page. So congrats on finding this little surprise and we hope that by doing this we can free up your time to play games & commiserate with your loved ones.
