Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Reveal Highlights

With Activision’s official reveal and trailer drop, it’s easy to see that fans are excited for the new Black Ops sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite highlights.
Single-Player
The storyline for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War single-player campaign takes place in 1981 during the Cold War, with flashbacks to multiple decades. The player will take part in an immersive, top-secret espionage mission, teaming up with familiar faces like Mason, Woods, and Hudson as well as interacting with new historical figures like Ronald Reagan. This campaign features new narratives, cutscenes, and multiple story endings based on the players in-game decisions. For the first time in the Call of Duty franchise, you will be playing as your own customizable character with different gender, personality traits, and appearance options to choose from.
Multiplayer
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have its own seasonal battle pass system with new maps and events. We’re excited to learn more about Multiplayer mode over the coming weeks!
Cross Platform Gaming
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrives for purchase on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 13th, 2020, but next-gen game release will not be available until the holiday season. This game will be enabled for both cross-platform and cross-generation play, meaning you will be able to play multiplayer with your friends no matter what platform they use, including the next-gen consoles as well. With the trailer containing game footage shot from the PlayStation 5, the audience gets a glimpse on how amazing these graphics will look on the next-gen consoles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
