The 3 Biggest Features that Have Us Geared Up to Play Borderlands 3
Shoot! Loot! Scoot! All the oots!
It’s been a long time coming but Borderlands 3 is finally here! The world of Pandora is looking better than ever, and we can’t wait to dive in. We even made a brand new set of performance thumbsticks in celebration.
So, make sure your ammo is full, and lets catch a ride through the list of BL3’s most exciting features.
TO PANDORA, AND BEYOND!
The floating city of Sanctuary has now become the floating spaceship of Sanctuary. You know what that means? Borderlands 3 is going interplanetary! The Children of the Vault’s influence has spread beyond just Pandora. New planets with unique locales are patiently awaiting visits from this new crop of vault hunters (us), and we’re looking forward to charting a course for an interplanetary Borderlands adventure.
A BAJILLION GUNS X2
Like every game in the series, Borderlands 3 has a procedurally generated weapons mechanic that’s able to churn out seemingly endless combinations. But Gearbox didn’t stop there. Some weapons even have two firing modes. Just when the combinations seemed endless, they turned it up another notch.
DEEPER CUSTOMIZATION ALL AROUND
In Borderlands 3, character customization has been turned up to 11. A whole bunch of cosmetic items have been added to the characters and vehicles so that you can trick them out any way you like.
Previous Borderlands character classes have had skill trees that augment the main action skill. Now, there are THREE action skills per class that can be swapped out at the player’s discretion. Then each action skill has its own tree; opening up even deeper amounts of customization to the way you play each class.
Need some extra performance vault hunter? Give our Borderlands 3 Claptrap Thumbsticks a shot!
